For the first time, the grounds of Castle Blatna will glow with thousands of LED lights. From 28 October 2026 to 31 January 2027, the Garden Full of Surprises light trail will lead you past illuminated decorations, offering a new evening view of the park surrounding the moated castle.
The illuminated park is organised by DECOLED as part of its Story of Lights project. For event details, current prices and tickets, visit www.storyoflights.cz.

Tickets
A separate Story of Lights ticket is required to visit the illuminated park. Standard castle park tickets and season passes are not valid for the evening light trail.
Tickets are available online from the organiser’s website or at the ticket office, where you can pay by cash or card. Tickets cost less online than at the gate. Employee benefit cards are not accepted.
Ticket categories:
Standard: visitors aged 15 to 64.Concession: children aged 3 to 14, students, visitors aged 65 and over, and holders of Czech ZTP or ZTP/P disability cards. An accompanying carer is admitted free of charge.Family 2+2: two adults and two children, or one adult and three children.Family 2+3: two adults and three children.For family tickets, a child is defined as a visitor aged 3 to 14. Children aged 2 and under enter free. There is no charge for pushchairs or dogs. Visitors bringing dogs must follow the park’s visitor rules.
Proof of eligibility is required for concession tickets. Each ticket is valid for a single entry and does not allow re-entry. Prices include VAT and booking fees. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to the site’s visitor rules.
Food and drink at Oh My Deer Café
Before your walk or during the evening, stop by Oh My Deer Café, open daily from 11 am to 7 pm. Enjoy coffee, hot drinks and homemade cakes and desserts with autumnal and festive flavours.

Parking is available on Na Příkopech beside the castle, at the Podzámčí car park opposite Lidl, or in náměstí Míru, the town square. Please check local signs for parking charges and restrictions.
