As part of the project, an intelligent chatbot has been developed and launched. It expands the ways in which information can be provided to visitors and makes it available outside normal opening hours. The digital assistant answers frequently asked questions about visiting the castle and its grounds, opening hours, admission fees, cultural events and other practical matters.

The project included an analysis of the most frequent visitor enquiries, the creation of communication scenarios, the development and configuration of the software solution, testing and its subsequent launch.

The new communication tool is designed to improve the visitor experience, make information more accessible and support the continued development of digital services at Castle Blatna. It will also help reduce the administrative workload associated with repeatedly answering routine visitor enquiries.

The project ‘SMART Blatná: Implementation of an Intelligent Communication System’ was implemented with financial support from the South Bohemian Region under its Tourism Support grant programme.

The 42-hectare castle park is a popular destination for visitors from the Czech Republic and abroad. In addition to its historical value, it is an important recreational and natural area and forms part of the Natura 2000 network. Its high visitor numbers therefore place demands not only on visitor facilities but also on the sensitive use of the entire site.

New benches had already been installed in some parts of the park in previous years. In other areas, however, seating was either unavailable or consisted of unsuitable and visually inconsistent furniture. This year's project therefore aimed to continue the systematic renewal of the benches and provide additional seating in other parts of the park.

The new benches feature a consistent, heritage-sensitive design that respects both the historic character of the site and the landscape of the park. Their design and placement were agreed in consultation with the National Heritage Institute.

The additional park furniture not only makes visits more comfortable but also contributes to the sustainable use of the park. A sufficient number of appropriately positioned resting places helps guide the movement of visitors and reduce excessive pressure on the park's more sensitive areas.

The project ‘Improving Visitor Comfort in Castle Blatna Park’ was implemented with financial support from the South Bohemian Region under its Tourism Support grant programme. The South Bohemian Region provided CZK 50,000 in funding for the project.
