Have your child become a little farmer and learn about the life of an alpaca up close!
During the mini-farm, children will experience what it means to take care of an alpaca at Castle Blatna. The children will help clean the barn, prepare fresh hay and water, and will even get to reward the alpacas with their favorite treats and lots of cuddles.
The programme focuses on direct contact with animals in a playful and safe way that is tailored especially for children. In addition to an unforgettable experience, your little ones will also take away a closer relationship with our Blatna animals and the joy of spending time together in a beautiful natural setting.
Recommendations for visitors:
We recommend comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for the castle park.In case of sunny or hot weather, we recommend a hat and a bottle of water.In cold or rainy weather, we recommend warmer clothing and waterproof footwear.We recommend that you bring your phone or camera so that you can take pictures as momentos of meeting our cute alpacas.
Important information:
Suitable for children from 3 years of age.The program length is approximately 45 minutes.The capacity is limited to 10 children to maintain an individual, comfortable experience.Advance reservation is required.There is no need to bring any food for the alpacas–we have prepared feed suitable for the alpacas and ask that you do not feed our animals any outside treats.We have prepared a small surprise for the children at the end of the programme.
Venue: English Park, Castle Blatna - meeting with the alpaca caretaker occurs at 11:00am at the alpaca enclosure (near the children’s area).

In the case of high interest, we will add a second farm at either 13:00 or 10:00.
