On Sunday November 30 at 16:30 we will ceremonially light the Christmas tree and Baroness Jana Germenis-Hildprandt will light the 1st candle on the giant Advent wreath in the castle courtyard. Children from T. G. Masaryk Elementary School in Blatna will create a beautiful atmosphere by singing Christmas carols together with their teachers.
Throughout the day, our Christmas markets will delight you with regional specialties, original gifts, and handmade products.
You can also enjoy special Christmas tours of the castle, which will take you into the world of Christmas traditions from different parts of the world. In each room, you will discover how the Hildprandt family celebrated Christmas in Slovakia, USA, Czech Republic, Austria, or Greece.
