Join us on Monday, the 28th of September during the Czech Statehood Day national holiday for some historic celebrations at Castle Blatna!
Are you looking for fun plans to do during your day off? Come and enjoy a relaxing bank holiday at Castle Blatna and discover the castle’s secrets during an experience uniquely crafted around Czech history and heritage.
For this special holiday, we’ve organised unique tours for you that will take you beyond the usual visitor routes. Not only will you explore beautiful, public exhibitions such as the Rozdražov and Rožmitál Palaces, but you’ll also get a glimpse of areas not usually accessible to visitors: the Old Palace and Rejt Palace. To cap off this special experience, the tour will also include a stroll through the castle park.
The tours will be tailored around the special Czech Statehood Day on 28th September, in which we commemorate the legacy of Saint Wenceslas, the patron saint of the Czech lands. During the tour, you will therefore hear fascinating facts about Czech history, stories linked to noble families, and legends associated with the castle. You can look forward to an enriching conversation, the ability to explore the country’s history, and a peek into castle areas not usually open to public viewing.
