The 21st Blatná Photo Festival will take place on the third weekend of September.
Once again, photography enthusiasts can look forward to a packed programme featuring exceptional exhibitions, meetings with photographers, lectures, live music and the festival’s unmistakable atmosphere.
Throughout the weekend, exhibitions by leading Czech and Slovak photographers will be presented at various locations across Blatná, including the museum, Castle Blatna, the Information Centre, the Chapel of St. Michael the Archangel and the House of the White Lion (U Bílého lva).
Featured photographers include Michal Macků, Viki Kollerová, Vasil Stanko, Jozef Danyi, Radka Korandová, Tomáš Umlauf, Tomáš Rasl, Jan Pavel Hille and Anna Jacobs, alongside the Multimedia Studio of the Art and Design High School in Liberec and 33 photographers selected for the Open Call.
The Sokolovna Community Hall will host afternoon lectures and the popular Ozvěny Fotojatek (Echoes of Fotojatka), featuring screenings of photographic series by leading Czech and international photographers accompanied by music.

The Blatná Photo Festival was first organised in 2006 by the local KAMFO photography club to celebrate its 50th anniversary. Today, the festival is organised by Kulturní Plantáž Blatná in cooperation with KAMFO.
